NFL Week 15: Cowboys 24, Saints 17

Summary

Yes my followers, yes, the improbable happened. The Dallas Cowboys walked into the Superdome on Saturday night with virtually no chance, from the columnists point of view, to defeat the undefeated New Orleans Saints. In the words of Tony Dungy, not verbatim though: "The Dallas Cowboys have absolutely no chance to beat the New Orleans Saints tonight." Oh really Tony, really?! To be honest, i think the only people who gave Dallas a chance WERE Dallas FANS, but i even heard some Dallas fans say we were gonna lose. I predicted this game 2 weeks prior that we were gonna win, and no one listened to me. They say I was being a homer, a dick rider, a super fan, etc. Well, we did it, just like I said! It was a solid game from everyone, defensively and offensively. Tony Romo played like a MVP, throwing for 312 yards and a TD on 22 of 34 passing. Our defense was the star this game. holding the high flying Saints to their lowest scoring total of the season. They also sacked Drew Brees 4 times, pick him off once and caused and recovered two fumbles, one in which sealed the game. The domination started when the Cowboys went on their first drive and scored on a 49 yard pass from Romo to Miles Austin, who had 7 catches and 139 yards. Dallas held the saints to 0 points in he first half, something that hasn't happened to the Saints this season, and three straight 3 and outs. Our only flaw that game was our special teams, mainly the field goal kicking..mainly Nick Folk lol. He missed a game sealing field goal that could of put the Saints away permanently, but thanks to the defense, the hope of a Saints comeback was shot down. We gave the Saints their first loss, something 13 teams before us couldn't and didn't do.

NFL Week 13: Giants 31, Cowboys 28

*long exhaaaaaaaaaaaaale*

I didn't watch the game, I only saw highlights and heard a scarce amount of game audio. I just heard and saw enough though to know that we blew a game we had won. This game was in the palms of our hands and we let it slip right out. The moment shifter was Marion Barber's fumble right before the half that set up a Giants touchdown. Despite Tony Romo playing LIGHTS out by throwing for 3 TD's and 392 yards and no picks, Jason Witten having a monster game with 14 catches and 156yards and Miles Austin beasting with 10 catches, 104 yards and a TD, we jst found a way to lose. With every analyst in the world talking about our December woes, by playing like this, we are just proving them right.

Next Week's Opponent:

San Diego Chargers (9-3) @ Cowboys Stadium
