NFL Week 8: Cowboys 38, Sehawks 17

Summary

The Cowboys continued to roll as the pasted the Seattle Seahawks in a 39-17 in Cowboys Stadium on Sunday for their 3 straight win. The offense was clicking on all cylinders and were almost flawless. Tony Romo had a another great game with 256 yards in the air along with 3 TD passes to 3 different receivers. Also, for a third straight game, Romo hasn't thrown an interception, which is a career first. In his last 5 games, Romo has thrown for 8 TDs and one pick and is 4-1. Miles Austin didn't have his usual monster game, but he contributed with 5 catches for 61 yards and a score. Our run game flourished, but not like it usually does. As a team, we rushed for 113 yards on 29 carries, which is a 3.9 yards per rush average.Where we really shined at was our special teams. Patrick Crayton returned a punt 82 yards for a score, This is the second straight week that he has returned a punt for a TD. Our defense played good, but gave up over 300 yards this game in a winning effort.

NFL Week 7: Cowboys 37, Falcons 21

Summary

The Cowboys entered this game as an underdog and were doubted the whooole week before it. The silenced the doubters and upset the betters by dominating the Atlanta Falcons is beautiful fashion. We were clicking on all cylinders. Offense: Tony Romo threw for 311 yards, 3 scores and zero interceptions and we totaled 414 yards. Defense: we sacked Matt Ryan 4 times and forced him to throw 2 interceptions while we allowed only 298 total yards. Special Teams: Patrick Crayton returned a punt for touchdown to seal the game in the 4th quarter with less than 8 minutes left. Whether you want to believe it or not, this was a huge game for the Cowboys to win so they could prove to themselves and the rest of the league that we are who we say we are. This was our first statement game this season and we answered the call. Oh yea, I forgot to mention that Miles Austin was a BEAST again with 6 catches for 171 yards and two touchdowns
