Haters..... Part. 2

Here is Part 2 of my "Haters" mini series....

Chronic Bronchitis

Ahhhh, good ole bronchitis. This is the "hater" everyone knows about. This one is associated with me more than anything. Ive been dealing with this mofo for my entire life. It was worse when I was younger. Every other day/night I would be on the nebulizer, breathing albuterol through this mask, looking like a cancer patient. From what I know, it was passed down to me by my pops. He had it mildly when he was a kid, but he got over it quicker than I did. One thing you have to consider also is that he used to smoke cigarettes since he was 18 or 19 (he recently stopped, yay!). When I get these attacks, I literally feel like a fish out of water. I take constant short breaths, my lungs feel like a gorilla is gripping them, I get tired REALLY quickly, and my overall mobility just lessens. Now, when I get treated on the nebulizer, that's where the really scary parts happen. Why scary, you ask? Well, I don't know if its only me, but albuterol makes my heart pace faster than usual. After about 10 minutes of being on the nebulizer, I feel like i just finish run a mile. My heartbeat is so high, but no thigh enough to cause alarm. Also, its works as a kind of sleeping treatment. When I go on the nebulizer at night, before I go to bed, it makes me extremely sleepy. Sleepy to the point where I'll fall asleep with the mask still on and the nebulizer still running. Now as a kid, of course this scared the shit out of me, but as I got older my parents explained it to me and I found out more about it.

Bronchitis is another reason why I couldn't really participate is sports I wanted in school and some time at home with friends. I would get tired really quickly, run slow and not perform well at all. Some say that's its a good thing that I have it because I cant smoke cigarettes or weed and etc. Yea, that's a good way to look at it...BUT, you have to consider all the GOOD things that I CANT do. *sigh* I don't know, I guess I'll just have to live with it and see how it turns out. The only good news is that its not as bad as it was about 1 or 2 years ago, where I'd be on the nebulizer about every night. Besides two weeks ago, I haven't been on it since the start of this year....*fist pump*

Btw, Ren and The Nebulizers coming soon...;)
