NFL Week 15: Cowboys 24, Saints 17

Summary

Yes my followers, yes, the improbable happened. The Dallas Cowboys walked into the Superdome on Saturday night with virtually no chance, from the columnists point of view, to defeat the undefeated New Orleans Saints. In the words of Tony Dungy, not verbatim though: "The Dallas Cowboys have absolutely no chance to beat the New Orleans Saints tonight." Oh really Tony, really?! To be honest, i think the only people who gave Dallas a chance WERE Dallas FANS, but i even heard some Dallas fans say we were gonna lose. I predicted this game 2 weeks prior that we were gonna win, and no one listened to me. They say I was being a homer, a dick rider, a super fan, etc. Well, we did it, just like I said! It was a solid game from everyone, defensively and offensively. Tony Romo played like a MVP, throwing for 312 yards and a TD on 22 of 34 passing. Our defense was the star this game. holding the high flying Saints to their lowest scoring total of the season. They also sacked Drew Brees 4 times, pick him off once and caused and recovered two fumbles, one in which sealed the game. The domination started when the Cowboys went on their first drive and scored on a 49 yard pass from Romo to Miles Austin, who had 7 catches and 139 yards. Dallas held the saints to 0 points in he first half, something that hasn't happened to the Saints this season, and three straight 3 and outs. Our only flaw that game was our special teams, mainly the field goal kicking..mainly Nick Folk lol. He missed a game sealing field goal that could of put the Saints away permanently, but thanks to the defense, the hope of a Saints comeback was shot down. We gave the Saints their first loss, something 13 teams before us couldn't and didn't do.

NFL Week 13: Giants 31, Cowboys 28

*long exhaaaaaaaaaaaaale*

I didn't watch the game, I only saw highlights and heard a scarce amount of game audio. I just heard and saw enough though to know that we blew a game we had won. This game was in the palms of our hands and we let it slip right out. The moment shifter was Marion Barber's fumble right before the half that set up a Giants touchdown. Despite Tony Romo playing LIGHTS out by throwing for 3 TD's and 392 yards and no picks, Jason Witten having a monster game with 14 catches and 156yards and Miles Austin beasting with 10 catches, 104 yards and a TD, we jst found a way to lose. With every analyst in the world talking about our December woes, by playing like this, we are just proving them right.

NFL Week 12: Cowboys 24, Raiders 7

Summary

This year we added the Oakland Raiders to the laundry list of teams that we annually slaughter on Thanksgiving. Every year we always have a stellar performance from one player, and this year, to nobody's surprise, that guy was Miles Austin. He lit up the stat sheet with 145 yards on 7 catches and a touchdown. This is such an accomplishment because he did it against arguably the best cornerback in the league, Nnamdi Asomugha. Our run game wasn't too shabby themselves either. we rushed for 195 yards and 1 TD. Each of our running backs had long runs over 40 yards. Tashard Choice had a 66-yard blast on a wildcat play, Felix Jones had a 46 yard scamper that was also a TD and Marion Barber III had a 42-yard run. As usual, we were clicking on all cylinders on defense and offense. Tony Romo threw for 309 yards and 2 TD's along with zero interceptions. As a team, we didn't have a turnover and we caused one. Critics will say this wasn't a HUGE win because it isn't. BUT, keep this in mind: the Raiders beat two winning teams (Cincinnati Bengals and Philadelphia Eagles) who has a combined record of 15-7, and one is a division winner.

NFL Week 11: Cowboys 7, Redskins 6

(Sorry for the late post!)

Summary

What can I say about this game? Except that the Cowboys stunk like hot garbage juice on an early summer day. For the second straight week, Dallas was held scoreless until the fourth quarter. They could not convert on 3rd and 4th down situations, and the were missing vital red-zone conversions and field goals. the only thing that allowed us to rally back and win was Shaun Suisham's two missed fields goals. Miles Austin had himself a bad day, only catchign for passes for 43 yards. One, and the only, thing that was good is that when it counted, Romo came through in the clutch and delivered our only touchdown to Patrick Crayton after Romo spun off a defender who could've ended the game with a sack for a loss of yards. None the less, we weren't supposed to go down o the wire with a team that we are CLEARLY better than. I guess that why you play the game*shrugs*

NFL Week 10: Packers 17, Cowboys 7

Summary

The Cowboys came into Lambeau Field with a four game winning streak, the hottest receiver in the NFL in Miles Austin, a quarterback in Tony Romo that was playing lights out, and a high-powered offense. That usually equals domination, correct? Wrong! We left that field with a loss, a laundry list of injuries and an empty feeling, just the opposite of a win. Last week against the Eagles, I blogged about how we won as a team and worked perfectly together. This week, ironically, we lost as a team. You cannot put blame on anyone for this loss. We had several opportunities to make plays and we blew them. Sure, you can say Roy E. Williams dropped a wide open pass and he fumbled, but he had 105 yards and set-up a couple of scores. Our O-Line, even before Colombo got hurt, wasn't protecting AT ALL, Nick Folk missed an easy short yardage field goal that would've given us the first lead, Romo threw a COSTLY interception at the goal line and we lost several fumbles that led to Packers scores. This loss can't be blamed on anyone except the Dallas Cowboys.

Right Tackle Marc Colombo left the game with a broken left fibula. He hasn't been ruled out for the season yet...Free Safety Ken Hamlin left the game with a groin injury. He will be out 3-4 weeks...This loss snapped Dallas' four game winning streak...The Cowboys have had at least 3 sacks in seven straight games...Romo is still the winnignest Cowboys quarterback at Lambeau field despite being only 1-1 there.

NFL Week 9: Cowboys 20, Eagles 16

I'm not going to do the regular loong, drawn out blog with this one. Why? Because I'm PUMPED!!!! This was the BIGGEST game of the season and we delivered like Papa Johns! I think everyone in America picked the Eagles to beat us except Cowboys fans lol. The main reason I didn't go with the extensive blog is that we played as a TEAM, we played as ONE. Nobody out shined nobody in this game. There were only a couple of notable plays and stats. Tony Romo threw his first interception in the last 143 passes without one, Miles Austin only caught one ball, which was a 49-yard touchdown and basically the game winning touchdown and he continued his four game TD catching streak, DeMarcus Ware another sack this game, making this his fourth straight game with a sack.

Overall, this was just a HUUUUUGE win....HUGE!!!!!!

NFL Week 8: Cowboys 38, Sehawks 17

Summary

The Cowboys continued to roll as the pasted the Seattle Seahawks in a 39-17 in Cowboys Stadium on Sunday for their 3 straight win. The offense was clicking on all cylinders and were almost flawless. Tony Romo had a another great game with 256 yards in the air along with 3 TD passes to 3 different receivers. Also, for a third straight game, Romo hasn't thrown an interception, which is a career first. In his last 5 games, Romo has thrown for 8 TDs and one pick and is 4-1. Miles Austin didn't have his usual monster game, but he contributed with 5 catches for 61 yards and a score. Our run game flourished, but not like it usually does. As a team, we rushed for 113 yards on 29 carries, which is a 3.9 yards per rush average.Where we really shined at was our special teams. Patrick Crayton returned a punt 82 yards for a score, This is the second straight week that he has returned a punt for a TD. Our defense played good, but gave up over 300 yards this game in a winning effort.

NFL Week 7: Cowboys 37, Falcons 21

Summary

The Cowboys entered this game as an underdog and were doubted the whooole week before it. The silenced the doubters and upset the betters by dominating the Atlanta Falcons is beautiful fashion. We were clicking on all cylinders. Offense: Tony Romo threw for 311 yards, 3 scores and zero interceptions and we totaled 414 yards. Defense: we sacked Matt Ryan 4 times and forced him to throw 2 interceptions while we allowed only 298 total yards. Special Teams: Patrick Crayton returned a punt for touchdown to seal the game in the 4th quarter with less than 8 minutes left. Whether you want to believe it or not, this was a huge game for the Cowboys to win so they could prove to themselves and the rest of the league that we are who we say we are. This was our first statement game this season and we answered the call. Oh yea, I forgot to mention that Miles Austin was a BEAST again with 6 catches for 171 yards and two touchdowns

NFL Week 5: Cowboys 26, Chiefs 20 (OT)

Summary

I'm going to start with this: the fact that we had to go into overtime with a winless team rubs me the wrong way. This team is a couple mistakes and lucky plays away from being undefeated. Their isn't much to summarize about the game. We let the Chiefs hang in there like a playoff team instead of blowing them out. Our special teams didn't help either. they ended up turning the ball over on a muffed punt by Patrick Crayton to setup a Chiefs score. The only bright spots were Miles Austin and his 10 catches for 250 yards and 2 TD's, one being a 60-yarder to win the game in OT. And Tashard Choice and his 92 yards on 8 carries (11.5 yards per rush average) and one TD. Our defense played sloppy and kept Kansas City in the game for too long. If it wasn't for penalties however, th score would have been MUCH different.

NFL Week 3: Cowboys 21, Panthers 7

Summary

The Cowboys came into this game with a chip on their shoulder. They just recently got embarrassed at their home opener by the New York Giants, and were looking to bounce back at home against the Carolin Panthers who entered this game 0-2. The Cowboys opening drive was superb. Our passing game was working, our running game was working, everything was falling into place. It was no doubt in my mind that we were gonna score....was I wrong. On a 2nd and 9 play on the Panthers 12 yard line, Romo got sacked for a 10 yard loss. That sucked the life out of Dallas because two plays after, we attempted a field goal and missed. So a good opening drive with zero points scored...smh. After that, the first half was just bleh! We were doing great statistically, but we weren't scoring. The Panthers ended up scoring the only touchdown of the first half and we went into halftime down 7-0 along with a whole crowd of boos. But, they came out BOOMING in the second half. We shut the Panthers out 21-0 in the 2nd half. Our run game was again the reason we dominated. Romo wasn't really a factor though. He made key throws, but he left the game without a TD pass. Overall, this was a good, statement win for Dallas. I wasnt impressed that much, but it was a good win.

NFL Week 2: Giants 33, Cowboys 31

Summary

*sigh* What can I say about this loss? ALOT, but Ill keep it short. The Cowboys opened there brand new, 1.5 BILLION dollar stadium (nick named "The Palace in Dallas") with a loss to one of our biggest rivals...the New York Giants. What a way to open up a stadium, huh?! -_-. And, on top of that, they broke an attendance record by having over 105,000 people present. That's a SPORTS record, not just an NFL record, a record in all of SPORTS history. You'd think we would come out and win, right?......WRONG! There was a lot of blame to pass around in this loss. You cannot put the blame on any one player, coach and etc. The TEAM as a whole played awful. Our only bright spots were our running game, which gashed the Giants for 251 yards on 29 carries and 2 TD's with a WHOPPING 8.7 yard a run average, and our run defense, which held the Giants to 97 yards on 26 carries and a mere 3.7 yard a run average. Our pass defense was HORRENDOUS. They allowed Eli Manning to throw for 330 yards on 25 of 38 passing and 2 TD's and we didn't sack him ONCE. Ironically, there average gain per pass was 8.7. Don't think that I forgot about Tony Romo. I don't know whats wrong with our quarterback. Its like everytime there is a huge stage, the lights are on and everyone is watching, he chokes. He did mediocre at best. He threw for 127 yards on 13 for 29 passing, 1 TD and 3 interceptions. All three of those picks led to 17 Giant points (pun intended). Our offense turned the ball over 4 times, which led to 24 Giant points. If it wasn't for those lucky plays and crazy turnovers, the score wold have been 31-7. I know I sound like I'm being a homer, but the Giants won this game off of pure luck. Point, blank, period.

NFL Week 1: Cowboys 34, Buccaneers 21

Wow! What a way to kick off the 2009 NFL Season for the Cowboys! The Cowboys continued their opening game success by being the winningest team in season openers in NFL history.

Summary
Overall, we did above average. Our offense wasn't clicking early in the first quarter but we eventually got it together and did excellent. We managed to rack up a total of 462 yards, with most of them coming through the air. Our passing attack was the key to this win, with Tony Romo throwing for 353 yards on 16/27 passing with 3 TD's and a whopping passer rating of 140.6. Our rushing attack didn't really show up as I expected them to, with just a mere 118 yards total rushing and a TD. Even our special teams did great! They managed to block a field goal, which was the deciding factor of the game. Our defense, however, did really shabby. They allowed a total of 450 yards, with the majority of those yards coming on the ground. Cadillac Williams (Tampa Bay's Running Back) ripped us apart for 97 yards on 13 carries and a TD. While Derrick Ward got us for 62 yards on 12 carries and a TD. Our passing defense was no exception either. They allowed Byron Leftwich to scorch em for 276 yards and a TD. The passing D gave up several long bombs and passes also. Those either set up touchdowns or field goals. I can cut the D some slack because there are alot of new guys and they haven't gel'd together properly yet. Id give them about 2 or 3 more games to get it together.

Hurricanes 38 - Seminoles 34

What a way to kick off the 2009 college football season for the Hurricanes!

Gotdamn, what a game! I cant lie, my heart was racing 90% of the game. This game was one for the ages! One of the most exciting games between the two storied rival programs. Jacory Harris played LIGHT OUT, ever after injuring his throwing arm. He went 21-34 with 386 yards and a pair of picks and touchdowns. He also threw a 40-yd pass that lead to the game winning run by Graig Cooper. Jacory won ACC Player of the Week along with his team mate Brandon Harris. Overall I'd give our performance a B-. We were stellar on offense and special teams, but the defense needs to tighten up. They let Ponder (FSU's quarterback) and the rest of the FSU running game run all over them at pivotal moments in the game. But, the defense did step-up at the end of the game when they needed to.

I would post the highlight, but ESPN doesn't let you embed videos...wack -_-

Its all about the U!

Happy 21st.....

to me!!!! I'm 3 days late though lol. I had fun, chilled with my friends and fam and I got some ill gifts! (some from myself and some from friends.) I also felt like I accomplished something. Everyone I know says when they turn 21 they are gonna get stupid drunk, drink till they pass out, etc. Did I do that? No....surprisingly lol. I don't know what was going through my head. I wanted to drink, but I just didn't. I guess it wasn't meant to happen. This is really REALLY surprising because last years when I turned 20, I got SLOSHED...no hyperbole.

Plus...my hair

Its still here =/. I admit it, I backed out like a little bitch!! I love my hair too much lol

4 Days.....

I know you're wondering "Whats the countdown for?" Well.....its for my BIRTHDAY! Yes, I'm turning the big deuce uno. Also, something else EPIC is going to be happening on that day. I plan on cutting of my hair that Ive been growing for 3 years

*waits for reader to stop gasping*

*sigh* Yes, I believe its time to part with my lovely locks. Ive been through so much with them. Ive spent sooo much money on them. Lately they've become a big hassle that I just couldn't deal with anymore. Picking it, trying to get it braided, washing it, covering it up for work, its just become too much of a problem. Alot of people think I'm lying, but this IS happening people, best believe it. Other people agree with my decision and are actually glad that I am doing this. I believe it will give me a more professional look, and I wont be look at differently in job interviews and things of that nature. Besides all of that, I think its a maturity thing. Braids are a bit immature to me now and its time for me to grow up since I'm turning 21. A low cut will give me more of an adult look and maybe people will stop mistaking me as a teenager lol. One thing is for sure though, I'm most definitely going to miss it...":'-(

Are You Ready For Some Football?!

I know I am! I am so hyped about this season. I know, I'm hyped about every season, but this is gonna be a special season. For starters, The Super Bowl is gonna be right here in my backyard (I literally live less than 5 minutes from Dolphin/Land Shark Stadium). My team, The Dallas Cowboys, have made some nice acquisitions and they have a promising future, even though we got rid of Terrell Owens. And since I'm blogging this season, I plan on doing something for every Cowboy game. After every regular season game, I'm gonna evaluate them. Ill post what we did right, what we did wrong, player of the game, hit of the game, etc.

Stay Tuned!

Cowboys in 2010!

Any Given Sunday

This had to be thee WORST Sunday/Saturday of my life, I swear to GOD!

Here is what went down:
1. Saturday night, after dropping my brother somewhere, I'm on my way back home and my car overheats. No problem, right? Ill just let it cool down, add coolant and what not and be on my way. WRONG! After I waited of about an hour for it to cool down and I added my coolant and shit, I try to go where I was planning on going. I wasn't even an eighth of a mile away from my house and my car overheats again! So, I pull over and find out its my radiator hose. Boom, my plans are ruined for the night and I have to buy a radiator hose in the morning.

2. Sunday morning, I go to buy the radiator hose. I'm going back and forth to the auto parts store because none would fit, but finally I got the right one. I'm on my way to my friends birthday party, when half way there, my car overheats yet again. So luckily, my job is right next to my friends house where he is having his party (I work at Auto Zone). I pull in there, and I have a mechanic there flush my radiator...this takes about another hour smh. While that's happening a friend of mines who is a mechanic tells me that my heads are blown and so I my head gasket. This is not news I need to hear right about now. The head gasket alone costs about 70 bucks and the job for it is about 300-400 bucks.

3. I finally get to my homies party after God knows how long, and we are there having fun. We're eating, listening to music, talking with all his friends, just having a great time. Then, for some reason, I decided to throw the birthday boy in the pool. I grab him, lift him up and try to throw him in. Mind you, I'm still in my regular clothes, with shit in my pockets still. So, as I drop him in the pool, my body weight shifts forward and.....SPLASH!.....I fall in right behind him with all my clothes and shoes on and all my shit in my pockets...including my FUCKING G1. Knowing this, I hopped out the pool in a flash, emptied my pockets and tried to ave my G1. But, that didn't happen. My screen was blank and so was my face. My wallet, shoes and other shit got wet, but I really didn't give two fucks about those, because they could be saved. But, my G1?!?!?! WHY?! I kept my cool though because it way my boy's birthday, and I didn't want to bring a negative vibe out. So, I just accepted it....then.

I swear that I just have the worst luck, but I have alot of patience on top of it, so its really no problem for me to deal with it. Some people might just break down or explode, but I do neither. I DID want to punch the hell out of something after, but I thought "Why? That's not gonna fix your phone."

*sigh* I dunno man, I dunno

August 24th

Yup, school is already here, just around the corner. I FINALLY switched my major and got a class. Yes you read that correctly, a class. Times are hard out here when Financial Aid is helping out. I'm also going into the nursing program, so I HAVE to be EXTRA focused. My sister went through it, and she made sure she told me that it is DIFFICULT. That's the first question I asked her about it. She didn't hesitate to say "Yes, it's very hard. Make sure you study!" I'm going to heed her warning because if I mess this up, it's going to be a hassle starting over. Luckily, there is some shining light in this situation. My previous major was Physical Therapy, and I have credits from that major that count toward my nursing program grade. So, it's looking pretty good for me from the get-go. I just need to stop fucking around and stay focused.

Listen to DOOM

In the few words he spoke, he pretty much summed up where Hip-Hop is nowadays. It's a DAMN shame how slept on he is. One of the illest MC's in Hip-Hop....PERIOD.

Aiyyo I Hate Niggas Like You, Fake Niggaz Like You

Why do people do this? You can talk to them one on one and they are a certain person. You two laugh, make jokes and are generally nice to each other. Then, when you two get around mutual friends, they turn into this whoooole different tough guy/bitchy bitch type of person. That shit really rides my nerves to no end. Its extremely stupid if you think about it. You and I both know that this isn't you and our friends know the same. Why act a different way around people that know how you really are? I'm guessing that its human nature for people to act a certain way around others just to impress them. I still don't agree with it. I think its so....flaw if you ask me. Like whats the point of acting a way around people who know how you REALLY are? I could understand if we were around starngers who don't know you from a can of paint, but friends? Close friends at that? I don't know, I just try to stray away from it as much as possible.

Oh yea, another blog title from a Sean Price lyric lol

Haters..... Part. 2

Here is Part 2 of my "Haters" mini series....

Chronic Bronchitis

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Ahhhh, good ole bronchitis. This is the "hater" everyone knows about. This one is associated with me more than anything. Ive been dealing with this mofo for my entire life. It was worse when I was younger. Every other day/night I would be on the nebulizer, breathing albuterol through this mask, looking like a cancer patient. From what I know, it was passed down to me by my pops. He had it mildly when he was a kid, but he got over it quicker than I did. One thing you have to consider also is that he used to smoke cigarettes since he was 18 or 19 (he recently stopped, yay!). When I get these attacks, I literally feel like a fish out of water. I take constant short breaths, my lungs feel like a gorilla is gripping them, I get tired REALLY quickly, and my overall mobility just lessens. Now, when I get treated on the nebulizer, that's where the really scary parts happen. Why scary, you ask? Well, I don't know if its only me, but albuterol makes my heart pace faster than usual. After about 10 minutes of being on the nebulizer, I feel like i just finish run a mile. My heartbeat is so high, but no thigh enough to cause alarm. Also, its works as a kind of sleeping treatment. When I go on the nebulizer at night, before I go to bed, it makes me extremely sleepy. Sleepy to the point where I'll fall asleep with the mask still on and the nebulizer still running. Now as a kid, of course this scared the shit out of me, but as I got older my parents explained it to me and I found out more about it.

Bronchitis is another reason why I couldn't really participate is sports I wanted in school and some time at home with friends. I would get tired really quickly, run slow and not perform well at all. Some say that's its a good thing that I have it because I cant smoke cigarettes or weed and etc. Yea, that's a good way to look at it...BUT, you have to consider all the GOOD things that I CANT do. *sigh* I don't know, I guess I'll just have to live with it and see how it turns out. The only good news is that its not as bad as it was about 1 or 2 years ago, where I'd be on the nebulizer about every night. Besides two weeks ago, I haven't been on it since the start of this year....*fist pump*

Btw, Ren and The Nebulizers coming soon...;)

Haters..... Part. 1

No, this isn't about the haters that you're thinking of. These are haters that are hard to get rid of. These haters have hated on me since childhood, and some since birth. If you haven't guessed already, these haters aren't actually people. They are actually my ailments. What are these ailments you ask? Well, if you know me well, you know that I suffer from chronic bronchitis and severe scoliosis. I got this idea from friend of mine. We were talking about haters, and how we should make a blog about them. I told her that I don't have any haters. I told her previously about my ailments. She said that they are, in essence, haters. I thought about it, and said “hey that makes perfect sense.” A hater is someone or something that tries to prevent you from reaching certain goals or just doing regular everyday things. That's exactly what my ailments are. They have prevented me from doing so many things in my life. People say that I should just overcome them, but trust me it’s not that easy.

Scoliosis

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

This has annoyed or "hated" me ALOT. If I recall correctly, it was about 6th grade when it first started. I was trying to play optimist football. When I went to get a physical, the doctor diagnosed me with minor scoliosis. I already started thinking that I won't be able to play. But, since it was minor, I was okay to play. Fast forward to high school, it’s the summer before 11th grade. I'm trying out for football at the quarter back position. Just before that, I went to the University of Miami football camp, and I needed a doctor’s approval for that! And it was non-contact! That just shows how bad my back is. Now, things didn't really work out for me at quarterback, so I got moved. This didn't make me quit. All I did was switch positions. Now, I switch and all is well.....at least that's what I thought. Of course, like any high school sport, I had to get a physical. When I got my physical, I also received devastating news. The doc basically told me that if I take one bad hit to the back...l l...I would be DONE. He stressed that point a lot, and it scared me to death. So, due to that, I had to quit. Who knows, I could be playing quarterback for some college right now. Who knows what could have happened! Not only did it prevent me playing sports, but it nags me at my job. I work at Auto Zone, and there is always times when i have to do heavy lifting. One day, I tried to life two huge batteries, and my back damn near gave out on me. I missed a week of work because of this. In this day and age, I can use many hours as I can get. That week didn't really do my paycheck any good.

Thanks to my scoliosis, I had to throw away a dream.

Slaughterhouse

You think Hip-Hop is dead? How about you kill yourself. This is one of the best freestyle sessions that I've seen in a very long time. Buddens, Joell, Crooked and Royce all went THE FUCK IN!...l l. This a very rare feat in Hip-Hop nowadays , and I say that because of all the garbage nonsense they are playing through my radio speakers. Hip-Hop needs this type of shit, and Slaughterhouse is providing it. I know that their album is gonna be dope, and I will try and cop it

PS
They killed the D.O.A. beat better than Jay-Z!

Nike Air Penny II "Atlantic"

Looks like Nike finally wised up and is going to release the most coveted colorway of the Penny II's, the "Atlantics." In my opinion, these are the best Penny II's, then comes he black ones. These are the shoes that always came to mind when I thougth of Mr. Hardaways kicks. Some people say foams, but I say these. To be honest, they are kind of like a grail to me. I am gonna try my hardest to pick them up, no matter what I do

Chillin' Out Maxin' Relaxin' All Cool....

This blog is a day late, but I have reasons. I had a very odd day yesterday. But, anyhoo, that's beside the point.

This past weekend was a fun one, contrary to popular belief. I chilled with my SP Florida peeps, with the addition of two SP peeps from NY, Seren and Star. They were visiting Miami for the 1st time, so I kinda felt like a tour guide lol. We all went and saw The Hangover (the funniest movie to date!) and laughed our asses off! Other than that, I chilled with Seren & Star at their resort. I felt like I was vacationing too lol. It felt really good to be honest, I really needed it. And, one thing about those two is that I felt really comfortable around them. Its like I've known them for years. Usually, when I meet new people, I dont feel too good around them. But, I dont know what it was about these two, its like we've been best friends forever or soemthign lol. That was another great weekend in this EPIC summer vacation.

PS
To everyone I was chilling with, if I came off in the slightest as a douchebag, its due to the fact that my car was outta commission. I can admit, I was a little angry, and I usually don't show that. But, after EXPECTING to have a car the whole weekend, then not having it, my anger showd a bit lol

And, of course, here's a video of the weekend by none other.....UnkleLuc!

That's Fucked Up, Part. 5

*sigh*
What is this world coming to? All because the girl "thought" her "ex-boyfriend", who dumped her, was with this girl...SMGDH

Nike Air Hoop Structure

In the midst of dropping alot of "hybrids" and "fusions" that sneakerheads have hated, Nike redeems themselves wit the Air Hoop Structure. This hybrid is just the Air Structure 91 with some basketball flavor. I cant name any dope "hybrids" that Nike has made off the top of my head, but there are by far thee dopest ones. Consider these on my '09 pick-up list.

Random Axe

You probably read the title, and are wondering "who the fuck or what the fuck is Random Axe?" Well, Random Axe is the next hip-hop supergroup to take over the hip-hop game. Random Axe consists of MC's Sean Price and Guilty Simpson with producer Black Milk. The first track that they did together is on Guilty Simpson's album "Ode to The Ghetto", and track named "Run."

Run (feat. Sean Price and Black Milk) - Guilty Simpson

After I heard this track, and then heard they are coming our with an album, I felt a little hope in hip-hop.

Here is another track from Random Axe called "Monster Babies" from HipHopDX.com

Random Axe (Sean Price, Guilty Simpson & Black Milk) - Monster Babies | Hip Hop Songs > HipHopDX.com

With Black Milk, a young, great, promising producer, doing all the beats and Sean P and Guilty rippin' the tracks, this is sure to be a definite cop this summer...or whenever it drops lol

I had a dope time. This was actually my first ever sneaker event and it was a great way to have my cherry popped...l l. DJ Clark Kent was there, and he gave away his Yeezys to some dude. The Cool Kids Performed, but I don't know any of their songs :-/. The Clipse, of course, shut it DOWN! I took a pic with Ab-Liva, met The Clipse, but no pic lol. Overall, it was ill. My whole South Florida SP Fam came, and the girls shat on everyone with their sneaker table. Im glad I went, and I'm looking forward to DXC and next years Sneaker Pimps
